“24-Hour Comics Day” SG Edition to be on October 7-8

The Singapore chapter of “24-Hour Comics Day” returns this year, with the weekend of October 7th to 8th the designated date, with the event being hosted at LASALLE College of the Arts (1 McNally Street, Singapore 187940), as in previous years.
While waiting for the “registrations” to be put up (Yes, you would need to register to take part in this challenge), you are recommended to check in on the event’s Facebook page for updates!
For pre-info reference purposes (*I have no idea if these will be re-introduced for this year), these were the categories opened to 2016’s #24HCDSG:
(1) HARDCORE (24hrs Non-Stop : 10am Sat 1st Oct - 10am Sun 2nd Oct)
(2) THE SPLIT (12hrs + 8hrs : 10am - 10pm Sat 1st Oct & 10am - 6pm Sun 2nd Oct)
(3) MINI MARATHON (6hrs : 10am - 4pm Sat 1st Oct)

I’ve had the opportunity to visit them for in recent years (missed 2016’s tho), and had hoped to one day join in the challenge too! Just maybe not this year? hmm... Still hesitating but perhaps a “Mini Marathon” might work best (for me, physically) … AND might be a nice linkup with “Inktober”, no? Gawds, but I’m greedy hahahaha

"24-Hour Comics Day is an annual international celebration of comics creation. On this day, creative folks take on the 24 hour comics challenge: to create a 24 page comic book story, normally months worth of work, in 24 straight hours. Many participants gather at official event sites including comic book stores, schools, and libraries. Others take part in private gatherings, and many work on their own.
Every year since 2004 this event has taken place. The thousands of participants who have created tens of thousands of pages of original art have included the young and the old, people with decades of professional comics creation experience and those who have never tried to draw a panel before, at locations on at least five continents."
