Japan artist HARIKEN was flown in to Singapore and was hosted by HorNest at the past weekend’s Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Con 2017 (Sept 9-10) - which saw a schweet line-up of folks this side of toy-town! The Gentleman In Green, signed, live-painted, and shopped galore in SG, all the time looking to be the most joyous of folks I’ve seen at STGCC so far :)

And while I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting the man in person (much less shake his hand), thank goodness for his relentless coverage of his own adventures in SG, for which you can check out MORE snaps on his Instagram @harikenjp - some images are reproduced here, for your collective gawking pleasures :)

Honestly, at one time of my toy-collecting journey, I was pretty insane over his “MAD PANDA” character figure, but had never really had a chance to snag one (and still tragically do not own one), with the last time being to able to actually hold in hand - at the local flea market - but alas could not afford to bring it home with me (story of my recent toylife) … and having the HorNest Camo exclusives at STGCC2017 looking right back at me via their display shelves in STGCC, was a indeed a teasing “tragic-want” for me … *man-sob*

BUT, if YOU do not want to shed tears-for-toys like me, I’ll have you know BOTH pairs of HorNest exclusives have since been listed online for sales on hornest.sg, with Mad Panda for SG$150 per, and ARE for SG$40 each!

UPDATED: Harikan has since update this Facebook album with snaps of his time in STGCC/Singapore!
