DREAMER DUNNY by Mab Graves x Kidrobot

Sometimes when I describe what I blog about, folks not in-the-scene/culture/art-toy-addiction might have a harder time to grasp the concept of “art toys” and it’s (perceived) “monetary value”, versus when “Barbie” is mentioned, and the price-value of “vintage-dolls” is more acceptable … this was what first popped into mind when I saw images of Mab Graves’ (flocked) “DREAMER DUNNY” on the @myplasticheart Instagram!

And while I’ve previously featured this 8-inch Dunny from Kidrobot, it was only in it’s graphics stage, and as well a “July” release schedule. MPH now has it on pre-order for US$75.00 (ships Oct 27th).
Show a close-up of the “doll’s face” and people recognise “a doll”! But then again some might ask “What’s A Dunny?” ~ LOL
