The distinct visual aspect of the film no doubt comes from the costume design - which featured an extremely āold-timeyā feel with āMedieval, Renaissance, Elizabethan, and Victorianā multiple timelines bringing a severely aged notion to the aesthetics - much different to the earlier ācreepy clown at partiesā-look from the earlier film incarnation ⦠and in addition the clown facial make-up has decidedly gone a more distinct āevilerā (reminding me of āThe Crowā actually) ⦠Wonāt be too surprised WHAT costume might be popular this coming Halloween tho ⦠:)
