#playingwith: Attack On Titan Bearbrick (Keychains) from Medicom Toy
Managed to get at a blind box for the latest ATTACK ON TITAN BE@RBRICK (Keychain) Series from Medicom Toy (purchased at Action City in ViVo City in SG), and scored me a FEMALE TITAN!
This is not a “new” series though (as far as "toy new cycles" are concerned, IMHO :p), having been launched back in July and available at select Medicom official shops, Tower Records, Yodobashi Camera and select hobby shops (in Japan). I do not know if this series is new to Singapore, although when I first picked up a box, the display case had only two taken (prior to my purchase), when I purchased one last Thursday evening.
And while I might not return to get more (I want the “Titans” only lol), I have seen online an image of a window-boxed set with the entire line-up (can’t find the picture now tho), so that instead would be my ideal aim somewhen someday … :)
Meanwhile, scroll thru for an unboxing video, and some snaps of the BB at play with some of my other AOT-collectibles, of which I have a small and slowly growing collection of :)
The BB itself felt of a somewhat different material than that of other bearbrick-figures, somehow … slightly lighter, and a tad more “porous” than earlier ABS-makes? I haven’t delved into the material thus far (something to ponder for later, I guess), although I do wish the keychain aspect of the figure was not there at all, and even if I did remove the chain, the attachment is still clearly visible on top of the head, although I have not forcibly tried to twist/remove it - which of course will leave a hole behind… Another “problem” to solve for another time, perhaps?
