A Peek at Max Toy Co’s SOFUBI-MAN!

Mark Nagata has given folks a sneak peek at a upcoming NEW sofubi figure from Max Toy Co: Introducing the SOFUBI-MAN!

This is Mark’s homage to the masters of soft vinyl casting Japanese toys, featuring sculpt by Cristina Ravenna. And while his Max Boy sofubi holds a “Eyezon” in his hand behind his back, the Sofubi-Man instead has Eyezon in his back-pocket!

AND, if you are still uncertain about what actually “happens” in a soft vinyl factory. here’s a video clip of Shimizu-san (87 years old now, this video was taken in 2014) casting vinyl in his one-man soft vinyl kaiju toy factory in Tokyo, Japan … and truly a man deserving of his own toy-likeness, perhaps? :)
