MAFEX GWENPOOL from Medicom Toy
You might have already seen MAFEX’s GWENPOOL action figure on display (beside the studio images, since posted at bottom of this post "p) … but folks at the recent Wonder Festival (Winter) (and thanks to a amiami.jp) we now also get to see her UNMASKED!
And from images @versecomics, we have a closer look at her SHARK and PENGUIN-backpack! And while I've not been a huge fan of her comicbook incarnation (*never did read them, so can't be a "fan" or not, right?), the action figure however, is getting a real nice treatment, IMHO.
ON the other-end of the toy-spectrum of "life-like and shrunken version of the real person in your hands" (Thanks to Threezero & Hot Toys), there are toys who look like "toys", with Gwenpool walking out of the comicbook-page, innit? And I find myself really liking this aesthetic approach!
Medicom Toy has it's SRP at ￥7,800 (approx. US$73/SG$96) or ￥8,424 with tax (approx. US$79/SG$104), with this 145mm tall articulated action figure scheduled for a September 2018 release, do check in with your fav retailer(s) for availability!
