Gallery1988 x Mattel 2018 Art Show (June 29-July 14)

Gallery1988's annual art show with Mattel opened June 29th (from 7-9 PM at 7308 Melrose Ave). Curated by Tree and the Rock, this year's collection pays tribute "to the most unforgettable toys of all-time."

"Paintings about toys"? I can get with that! Gotta love G1988's forays into pop-culture inspired artshow :)

Featured here are previews (mostly) direct from the artists' own Instagrams, and as well folks can look forward to limited edition prints based on Masters of the Universe, Barbie, Dino-Riders, M.U.S.C.L.E. Men and much more.

With a portion of the proceeds benefitting charity, the work will first be available in-gallery on launch night, then remaining pieces will be online at gallery1988.com the next afternoon. This show will be on display through July 14th.
