Seen @ "SEEING BEING" Solo Show by Jan Calleja at Culture Cave SG

Regrettably, I am a week late for the launch of the gallery show, but I had the opportunity to see the pieces for Jan Calleja's 3rd solo show "SEEING BEING" up-close today at Culture Cave Gallery (Facebook Page), and it is simply AMAZING! And an evolution of Jan's work you might not have been familiar with seeing :)

Featured here are a few snaps and video clips to share (This just just a taste, there are MORE to come!), and as well a quick word that the exhibition lasts til July 16th - but you'd have to arrange for Private Viewing with Mr Yeo Hon Beng (Email: db.detentionbarracks@gmail.com or yeonardo@gmail.com / or DM Instagram @yeonardo), as well to contact him direct for the Customs Purchase / Price List (Tell him "TOYSREVIL Sent You"!)

... Me trying to "touch", but not ... eerrr... HANDS TO SHOW SIZE OF CUSTOM, thanks! :p
"Seen and Been in Singapore.
We came, we saw, we ate. Met new friends to work with, and some, to play with. We taught toy-making kung-fus while sharing stories of experiences and more importantly - life's lessons.
Because at the end of it all it isn't just much about the toy that really matters. It's about people and how it brings us together. From the untold stories of the artists and their artworks - to the many people who help and share them. May you be a collector or a maker. A partner or a supporter...or both. A newbie to the scene, or an old friend who just want to learn. It's all about the people who are made bound by these small but mighty things.
So we came, we ate and we fell in love. But most of all we learned many things that made us more. Thank you very much to all who made this very unique weekend worth the two-year wait and all the hard work.

Oh, by the way...did i mention I also had an exhibit there?"
