Chika Toys @ Wonder Festival 2018 (Summer)
I have been meaning to feature the toy-work of artist known as "Chika Toys" (Facebook / Twitter) since gawking constantly at his collectibles on his Instagram @chikatoys, but have not the opportunity to decipher/translate his Japanese text - which should not deter me right now from featuring his spread for the current Wonder Festival 2018 (Summer) held at Makuhari Messe, Tokyo, Japan (July 29), where you can specifically find these goodies at Table 4-12-2.
"CJ-9" is a pre-painted resin cast action figure standing 30cm tall, and features 41 points of "articulation"! Available "in costume" for 39,800 yen, and without for 35,000 yen.
The trio of robotic-figures are resin cast 8cm tall, and hand-painted with zero articulation. Price is 5,000 yen, with Unpainted versions at 3,000 yen. There are more colorways than the trio of editions for this event (as seen in video clip up above).
