KIT & TIG: New Sofubi Fantasy Feline Figures from Max Toy Co!

Max Toy Co unleashes NEW figures KIT & TIG - currently listed online on Maxtoyco.com (Kit the Kitten Boy & Tig, the Tiger Boy)! Standing 5.25 inches tall, with figures feature articulation in arms, head, waist and (rotatable) tail.

Each priced at US$45, both fantasy pre-painted sofubi cat-creatures are sculpted by Yoshihiko Makino, with production coordination by Yo Miyamoto (@quackmaxx).


First release at "Summer Design Festa" in Japan (in early-August), this is the first USA release to be had, in "limited supply"!

I am intrigued with the possibilities of this figure - be it being customisable (wish the paws/hands could "grip" weapons - but that shouldn't be much of a problem with customisers), and catering to what-I-feel to an upcoming "trend" (specifically in the art toy culture) for "fantasy"-themed characters, IMHO. I wonder what's in the pouches carried by the figures behind their waist(s)? :)
