Seen@STGCC2018: 1000toys

The 1000toys booth at STGCC2018 had been a constant source of activity and excitement (at the times I was there), with folks lined-up watching the invited artists live painting, alongside a splendid spread of their toy art, AND a schweet selection of vinyl toys.

From Japan we had Kaori Hinata and Yasu returning to Singapore (they were here in STGCC2017), while it had been the first time to STGCC for Teresa Chiba and illustrator Nakao Teppei.

And while I've not the chance to meet all the artists, I had an opportunity to take wefies, together with @tttttteruoooooo!

Folks interested in the collectibles you see here can bug @toystoart.showcase or their Facebook for availability, or check them out at their new show/event! As well head to their or their online shop to see what is listed.

And while I'd have loved to snag some collectibles from the artists' showcase, they weren't there to sign, so instead I snagged a few pieces - including Sad Salesman's Dessert Oracle (thanks for the reminder Angeline!), Science Patrol's Kappa and a blind-box Mini MetroWeGo, AND look forward to a proper toy review for the Fatty Tuna Edition Maguro (Thanks, Don!)
