"Funny thing about all the glittery resins...a few years ago before the sparkly craze I would see the glitter and pearl powders sitting on the shelf at the Compleat Sculpter store in lower Manhattan just collecting dust. I was like hmmm, what if??? But what also gave me the idea to add it to the resins was seeing how the glitter was used in the indie nail polish scene, with all sorts of crazy mixes and what not. Those girls could throw down some super sweet mixes. So I had to get out the box, mix and match the ideas hoping the cat and dog forms would hold the mixed in glitter and pearl and not settle at the top and look not so good. The confetti idea came from Alyssa Loney when she sent me some green translucent goodness to try out in the castings....so long story short I chucked everything but the kitchen sink into the resins and whalah!!!" shared Eric Nocella Diaz, who added; "NOTE: Also inspired by the Little Rascals TV show episode when they baked that big @$$ cake and threw everything they could get their hands on in it including that big old dirty boot."
