Introducing SPONGBOB BOX CAT (& Patrick) from Rato Kim x Unbox Industries for Taipei Toy Festival 2018

What happens when South Korean artist Rato Kim's BOXCAT Universe collides with the infamous denizens from under the sea (and his trusty bestie)? You get the SPONGBOB BOX CAT (and Patrick) v, set to greet folks and fans at the Unbox Industries Booth A73-74 at the coming Taipei Toy Festival 2018 (October 18-21)!


Unbox has had wildly successful and delightful licensed collaborations thus far with Japan's Uamou and Kong Kong's Kenny Wong, and now taking Nickelodeon's SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS character to South Korea-toy-design sensibilities? SCHWEET!

What I am amazed at with this particular collectible(s), is that the figure's features are 3-dimensionally sculpted, and not "just" printed on graphics, so kudos all around!

FYI: Rato will be in attendance at TTF with the Boom Boom Poom Collective (Booth A30,31), and as well apart of group show named "FOREST " at Wrong Gallery Taipei during the same period.
