The NUTTY CHIPMAN from SculpopFactory x SHOVEIT CRIATION @ Taipei Toy Festival 2018
Ever since spotting these on @kenthtoyworks' IG-stream (and featuring it / Yes, "referrals" do work, people!), I have been charmed and want to give it a solo feature; Introducing THE NUTTY CHIPMAN!
From Japan's Reika AKA "SculpopFactory" @reika_spf (the main designer for Artist Sofubi brand "SHOVEIT CRIATION" / @shoveit.criation) comes this two delightful sofubi, which brings back memories of "Alvin and The Chipmunks" cartoons, bit this time drenched in party-acid colors LOL
Admittedly, their form as well looks like vintage tumblers, adding to their appeal for me, anyways ... and I love their sculpted "accessories"! From the Peanut-water bottle, to the match-stick, and that bag of peanuts, these "chipmunk rangers" with their snazzy berets are out for adventure in the urban jungle, and I would dearly love to have them check out Singapore (and of course the TOYSREVIL HQ lah!)...
Priced at NT$2,000 each, and limited to only 20 sets etc, available at the Milkboys Toys Booth A55 ... now I need a toy-mule!
