It's down to the wwwire, and DesignerCon 2018 (Nov 16-18) is a literal few sleeps away, and in our continued "2018 DesignerCon Toy Watch", today we check out collectibles from Sket-One, Quiccs and Nychos & Juan Muniz for "Jurassic Park" officially licensed releases!


Dropping Saturday 11/17 at 12pm at the @i.am.retro Booth #2029 is the HOOD GOODZ IamRetro Chocolate Milk Edition from @sket_one! In a limited run of only 24 pieces, this pre-painted RESIN figure is priced at US$90.00 each.

Much excitement is going on at DCON with the "Jurassic Park"-themed group art show (View artwork on hollywoodreporter.com), and slated for a release are two slices of "art toy", with @jmunizart's “FELIPE-REX”, and @nychos's dissected T-REX - both to be released in conjunction with Universal Studios x 3Dretro x Amblin Entertainment - available at the 3D Retro Booth #1900.

Text lifted from @nychos: "When I was a kid I was drawing of dinosaur books for years. And the name NYCHOS also comes from a dinosaur. I was obsessed with those creatures and their skeletons. Jurassic Park was definitely an important milestone in my childhood. I had most of the JP figures but never got the TREX.😢Today I am happy to announce my first designed figure for Universal pictures @universalpictures and @3dretro . A dream came true. The anatomy of the Tyrannosaurus Rex will be the center piece at this years @designercon in Anaheim. Rabbit eye movement will have a booth as well with loads new goods. Can’t wait to show you more. Nychos's T-REX is in an edition of 250pcs, with each 8" tall x 14" long collectible priced at US$399, while the 6" tall FELIPE-REX is in an edition of 600pcs, priced at US$40 each. There is a 3rd as-yet-revealed official licensed Jurassic Park Designer Vinyl Figure to be revealed too, which you might want to stay connected to @designercon for updates/reveals :p


@quiccs will be unleashing the "Evangelion"-themed "Unit01" TEQ63 via the @mothershipartgallery Booth #2324 at DCON! Made with @martian_toys - who has since mentioned "Just 40 pieces available Friday ... then limited amounts Saturday", this 6 inch tall vinyl has an average SRP of US$70.00 per. As well QUICCS will be in attendance at DCON, so stay sharp, people!
