Making "Man of Many Weapons" with Mark Nagata of Max Toy Co

UPDATED: Since it's launch on Jan 6th, the remaining 5" tall figures are now listed online here for US$50 each.

Starting off a brand new year with a post showcasing the behind-the-scenes of "prepping a toy" - courtesy of Mark Nagata at Max Toy Co, for the upcoming release of this GOLD "Man of Many Weapons" figure on January 6th at the Japanese American National Museum (Previously featured). Only 45 pieces to be had (Price unknown), so stay alert folks! Also scroll thru to see the release schedule :)

It's not just about hand-painting collectibles (for which Mark is excellent in by the way), but also involves cutting/trimming, assembling pieces etc ... you might get the finished collectibles nicely bagged-n-tagged in-hand, but do remember they do take a lil'journey of completion before reaching your collection, so remember to show some love and appreciation to Mark at the release too! But I'm sure you have that covered without me sayin' :)

And not to forget a header-card featuring hand-painted art by Mark Nagata himself is easily worthy of the price of admission, thanks!
