Robot Remix @ sp[a]ce gallery at Ayzenberg - Opens May 4th, 2019


Presenting "ROBOT REMIX" = a show with a diverse mix of artistic mediums, limited edition art toys, and an Immersive XR Series including a VR Cinema and artist talks. Curated by Mark Todd, Dov Kelemer / DKE Toys, Paisley Smith and Milo Talwani.
"This eclectic exhibition showcases over seventy artists, each exploring the wide spectrum of what a robot represents. From a fun and playful visually pop approach to more analytic and somber notions, the artists’ work ranges from painting, sculpture, and ‘bootleg’ toys, to XR, interactive and kinetic art."

Dov Kelemer of DKE Toys brings over forty toy artists from all over the world to participate in ROBOT REMIX, including: 2bitHack, ADi, Barely Human, Bootleg Bootlegs, Buzzard Guts, Credenda Studios, DCA Toys, Denton, DLL Customs, Dogman Toys, Dollar $lice Bootlegs, Figure Fettish, Green Plastic Tunnels, Gypsy Oak, HEALEYMADE, Janky Toys, Jason Adams, Jay “toofless” O’Leary, Joshua’s Toybox, Junk Fed, The Katepillar, Killer Bootlegs, Kjelshus Collins, Kosmo Toys, Lazarus Toys, Manly Art, Mark Todd, Mr Blank Toys, Mr Pacos Bootlegs, Nekosatsu Toys, Panda Propaganda Toys, Random Skull Productions, RenOne, RYCA, Scott Wilkowski, Scraped Resin, Sean StarWars, Seth Relentless, SkipBroToys, Snapp Fink Toys, Special Ed Toys, Star Venger of the Ninth Order, The Mark Ultra, Tim Baron, and Wolf Pits.


Artist and curator Mark Todd put together the 2D portion of the show.

Robot Remix launches Saturday, May 4th (Opening Reception: 7pm-10pm) at sp[a]ce Gallery at Ayzenberg (39 E. Walnut St., Pasadena, CA 91103). RSVP here online).
