UGLYDOLLS in Singapore Cinemas Now! But not for long...
Launched in Singapore cinema is UGLYDOLLS, featuring the creations of Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath's Uglydoll characters animated for the big-screen! Premiering is also "The Secret Life of Pets 2", which is dominating Singapore's landscape now with toy tie-ins (I am at least aware of McDee's and GV popcorn sets), and visually a massive promotion. I've had a very random find of a 2 billboard promos side-by-side at a MRT, and Angeline has as well spotted on at her's (above snap).
The film premiere in the U.S. on May 3rd, and it looks like we are at the tail end of the hype here in Singapore.
As of Sunday today (3 days after the film's premiere on June 6th), Golden Village cinemas are screening between one to three times a day in their 10 cinemas ("Secret Life' is 3 to 5 times per cinema).
Uglydolls is screening in three Cathay cinemas today, with a total of 3 screen times.
I could not find the movie listed on either Shaw or Filmgarde.
It does not look like the movie will survive until the following weekend. A real pity, if that is the case :(

Here, the UglyDolls will confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most.
