"I call her Laika as a tribute to the first doggie in space! Using one of my most popular colour schemes; fading from turquoise to purple with white stars making up its own little universe over her body. Hand-painted and airbrushed with acrylics. Finished with a UV-resistant Matte Varnish to protect the artwork." said Emelie Jensen of @tomodachiisland.

ARTIST BIO: Emelie Jensen started making custom designers toys in 2014 and after just a couple of years it became herfull-time occupation. In her five years in the designer toy scene she have attended shows all over the world and made a name for herself. In short, a mother of two with a burning passion for art and anything designer toys. She dose her work from home in a little town called Verwood, United Kingdom. She is also a passionate sculptor.
