You would have no doubt witnessed or even collected "realistic" versions/incarnations of this figure, via production releases (SH MonsterArts, NECA etc) and hobby kits, but THIS version would be considered a "independent" production with limited quantities, and visually features a aesthetic closer to a "super-deformed" with a slight dose of "chibi", well, at least to me ... Check out the initial sculpt (featured below), before the final painted version we see above!
For folks unfamiliar with 2016 "Shin Godzilla" (also known as "Shin Gojira", and "Godzilla: Resurgence") - it is essentially a live-action Japanese feature film which re-imagines "Godzilla", as directed by Hideaki Anno (*Who (in)famously chose to do this film, before completing what is to be "EVANGELION 3.0+1.0"), and and Shinji Higuchi (who directed the two live-action "Attack on Titan" films before this, actually).
In the film itself, Godzilla undergoes a evolution of forms, from being a wriggly worm beast, to the 4th form we somewhat recognise ... The 5th and final form features multiple faces & forms on Godzilla's tail, something new in the Gojira-mythos.
