Twin PIRATEQ-47 (New TEQ63 Editions) by Quiccs x SERGANDDESTROY for Aug 30th Release!
Introducing a brand new TEQ63 figure: "PIRATEQ-47"! This latest incarnation of Quiccs' 6-inch vinyl TEQ63 Figure (produced by Martian Toys) features paint-schemes by by Sergio Andujar II AKA SERGANDDESTROY (IG @officialserganddestroy), will be made available in TWO colorway editions, exclusive to TWO retailers: @rotofugi (in Chicago, USA) and Mindzai@mindzai (in Canada)!
The Rotofugi-exclusive PIRATEQ-47 GG version is limited edition of 100 pieces has a striking blue and yellow paint scheme, and features SERGANDDESTROY's pirate skeleton logo on the back.
Priced at US$80 per (limit one per customer) - available to order online at rotofugi.com on Friday, August 30 at 1pm Central/2pm Eastern. Limited quantities will also be available to purchase in person at Rotofugi, 2780 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago.
The Mindzai-exclusive PIRATEQ-47 NEO-TOKYO PINK Edition features a CMYK colorway with serganddestroy pirate marks on the back as well as some other crisp detailing on the body.
Retailing for $85 USD / $115 CAD (Limit 1 unit per customer), it will be available to order in-store and online at Mindzai.com on Friday, August 30 at 12pm Eastern Time. Each retail store (Markham and Toronto) will have a Limited quantity of 15 units each and the rest will be sold online at Mindzai.com. First come, first serve. Bots and duplicate purchases will be cancelled.
P/S: And if you are wondering about the "pirate", I figured it was (partially?) based on the "Abe" mascot from #Rotofugi, who wears an eye-patch! Hey, you KNOW I am down with eye-patches, no? @officialserganddestroy adds:
"Yep the eye patch has dual meaning because my mascot is a space pirate! Between the two figures they have the full scale of colors in his design. Also @rotofugi is where I got my second vinyl toy so things have come full circle 10 yrs later." (Source)
