KAWS' GONE Drops Sept 24th on Kawsone

Since my earlier feature, KAWS' GONE will be made available on KAWSONE.com on Tuesday September 24th at 12:00pm (Noon) Eastern Daylight Time! Sized 14.2" x 15" x 6 inches, this vinyl figure is stated as an "Open Edition", with each figure colorway priced at US$580.00. (FYI: Previous release at kawsngv.com was priced at AUD $950.00 - approx. US$643.
Featuring KAWS' COMPANION holding unto a downed (unconscious?) BFF, the figures were first released in tandem with his solo exhibition "KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness" since launched (Sept 20th) at the National Gallery of Victoria, for which the video featured below showcases, which includes a look at the commissioned "GONE" bronze sculpture, for which the vinyl collectibles mirrored. Exhibits thru April 13th, 2020.
