Midnite Hotel - Novem from INTERCCEPT for Oct 19th Release
INTERCCEPT LTD. (interccept.com / Insta @interccept) collaborates with Taiwanese artist Arron Liu (Insta @midnitehotel), with the release of "Midnite Hotel 丑時旅店 - Novem", currently listed online here, available on October 19th, 2019 (17:00 LDN / 12:00 NYK).
"NOVEM" is a masked character wearing a bunny onesie, while carrying a bunny in his front pocket and holding unto a crescent shaped balloon in his hand... and I am sure the scarred bunny toy behind the character has another story of it's own ... This seemingly dark and forboding character is apart of "Chapter 1 - The Brute & The Auctions".
Made in PVC, the collectible figure is sized (approx.) 150 (H) x 90 (W) x 80 (D) mm, and in a limited edition of 166pcs, each priced at US$125.99, and will come housed in a box with black foam inserts.
"The Midnite Hotel" itself is a conceptual story, as are the characters being released. Below is an excerpt of the full "origin" story on interccept.com;
""The Midnite Hotel" is a special institution. The dream trading became its largest sources of income to the hotel. It also operates charities such as orphanages, and accommodates many homeless and abandoned child. Children can exchange accommodation for one day by trading one stories. If there is no story to tell, boarder can use the dream to mortgage.
Midnite Hotel will host an auction event in every full moon day of every month. Every children’s dream will public for auction during the event, dreams will be parasitized into rabbit dolls, the dream price of orphans dreams usually go cheaper than others. And also, the quality is so inconsistent.
Normally, it will take by the person who just wants to experience the “dream”, but it is not profitable. The main income is actually from the VIP, including those wealthy person and political and business celebrities."
