NEW MONEY DUNNY by Tristan Eaton x Kidrobot for Oct 4th Debut
Witness the NEW MONEY DUNNY from Tristan Eaton = a 5-inch tall chromed Metal Dunny figure that will be debut Friday October 4th at his "Strange Future" solo show at L.E.S. in New York City, where Tristan will be signing them in the gallery at 6pm.
The figure comes housed in a lux boxed package with black foam insert. Priced at US$100 each, in a "limited supply" (Quantity TBC) - available first come, first serve. Stay tuned for post-event availability info (if any).
It has been over a decade since Tristan had created the "Dunny" platform figure for Kidrobot (credited alongside Paul Budnitz), and quite fitting to see him "return" again to the form, and quite a splendid take on a 5-inch figure, IMHO. Idina really like to see the turnaround art for this too! And I wonder of there'll be a printed-n-colored incarnation of this relief-sculpted piece, in the future...
