December 16th Edition of Top Ten Blogposts for the Past Week on TOYSREVIL
With two more Top Ten Blogposts for the Past Week on TOYSREVIL to go after this, before 2019 ends, here is THIS WEEK's list to share based on YOUR reading/clicking choices, as recorded on blog-stats! (Listed dated 10:38am Singapore time).
#10: The "Midnight" Edition of Yoskay Yamamoto's WISH UPON ME... was launched by Mighty Jaxx for pre-orders over the weekend.
#9: Joan Cornellà 's BLUE SELFIE GUN by has since SOLD OUT by time of post, but an interesting slice of toynews, as (A) it features a collectible vinyl toy from an established contemporary artist not necessarily in direct connection to "the toy-scene" before, and (B) features a quite literal transition of "ART" to "ART TOY", helmed by folks who represented KAWS in earlier themed "KAWS Holiday"-releases, which introduces the concept of "hype-collectiblity" (*I don't know if that is a term used, but I am coining it now), to a ready public now able to assess a perceived "gallery art"-level collectible, versus "lowbrow indie art".

#5: I share images and my personal thoughts and impressions for my Dec 6th visit to Culture Cartel 2019, and I am reminded of starting out as a "personal weblog" 14 years ago, then knowingly transitioning to a "unbiased toynews-styled platform" with lesser opinions offered, actually... and how this blog might next evolve to, or "revert", moving forward into 2020...
#4: I don't know about you folks, but seeing in person BLOOM by Tara McPherson x Mighty Jaxx revealed at Singapore Comic Con 2019, was quite a treat! So this is how other toy-bloggers might feel, when they find stuff at conventions which they have not blogged about...?! And I like it!

#2: I had asked on my social channels, if collective-posts such as this "December 10/2019 #toynews #TodayonTOYSREVIL" would be what readers prefer, as opposed to singular/individual toynews - to which there were no tangible replies, except for this being on the "Top Ten" ... soooo this is somewhat a "reply" as well, right? :p
#1: Toycon Ph Designers Charity Auction for the Pearl S. Buck Foundation had ended December 15th, and thanks to JeAA, we have in-display images to share (above)!
