#toynews: MASTER 9 EYES by Daytoner x PureArts Launched on Kickstarter
"MASTER 9 EYES never left the house without his "knife block". To have a Plan B or even a Plan C was a strategic element in his otherwise reckless and lavish fighting style.
His opponents usually underestimate him due to his chunky appearance... but he always had a better stance. There are rumour about the ninth eye. Some say it's his MK II combat sensor others says it's instinct."
"MASTER 9 EYES" has now been launched on Kickstarter to be made a collectible figure! Designed by Concept Art and Character Designer Daniel Hahn AKA "Daytoner" / "DTNR" (daytoner.net / Insta @day_toner), and produced by Canada-based PureArts (purearts.com / Insta @pureartsofficial), the Kickstarter allows the supporter to be able to choose between two different versions of the Red Prototype M9E: A 30cm tall 1/6 scale resin limited edition, and/or a 15-cm tall 1/12 scale vinyl collectible.

As of the 10-hour mark of the KS-launch (Since Feb 5th), 25% of the pledge goal had been meant, which unlocked another colorway variant of the M9E figure - codenamed; "PHNTM P4ND4" = a black and white edition, "representing the philosophy of yin & yang and the expression of balance. The added neon orange accent certain makes the figure POP! I have to say, this is one of my favourite color combinations in my previous lifetime too LOL
Pledge Goal for this project is US$40,000, with the Kickstarter ending Tuesday, March 10 2020 11:59 AM AWST. Estimated Delivery for the resin figure is scheduled for July 2020, while the vinyl figure is September 2020. Ye gawds but I heart me some mecha! The "concept art" aspect of this design shines thru inexplicably, elevating it above the aesthetic we are used to - at least on this blog - AND that it's an "original" design not based off any existing media character? *Major Plus*
