Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica Coming To An End of Toy Art

This post on Facebook really caught my attention, but not in all the positive light, as Stephen and Spencer of Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica will be calling it quits from the toy scene sooner than you think!

"We have these 2 available as 1 of 1, these will be our last customs since we will be transitioning to a computer peripheral related business. It's been 13 years since we started Rotobox, we started with 2 super robot builds (Garada and Doublas) and will end with my favorite Voltes V and Spencer's favorite Grendizer. Both are Jumbo Machinders. Anyone interested pls. Message us. We will be making them as soon as they are preordered. Thank you."

My first ever blog-feature with Rotobox was for their GANMETALL CELSIUS production figure in 2008, made with (the now defunct) Kuso Designer Toys / KusoVinyl (who also produced their MINICEL production figure), and was quickly introduced to their MECHA-tastic array of customs thru the years since, primarily paying homage to Classic Super Robots and pop comic book characters. Their online interview (in 2009) with TOYSREVIL is as well one of my more memorable ones ... the last blogpost was in 2018, showcasing their appearance at the first ever TOYARTPH 2018!

Stephen Ong confirmed my fears; "...yes, we wanted to take a break in doing customs last year as we have been doing it for more than 10years, but we decided to just stop doing it 🙂"

Rotobox are currently official distributors of the Glorious PC Gaming Race Brand, Zeal, and Tai Hao Keycaps. Check them out on Instagram and Facebook! YOUR TOY ART WILL BE MISSED, GUYS!
