Singapore Comic Con 2020 Has Been Cancelled

Announced Monday October 19/2020 (12 Noon SG Time) is the cancellation of Singapore Comic Con 2020 "due to Covid-19 restrictions on large scale consumer events as well as travel restrictions that remain in place." Do read the rest of the announcement in image below, and stay updated via their socials: Instagram + Facebook + Twitter.

Previously scheduled for "5-6 December", situations have not changed locally here in Singapore as well, with "large acaled events/exhibitions" currently still unable to resume, as per Singapore "Circuit Beaker" measures, post-"Phase Two", were even public group gatherings to not exceed 5 people too.

There is currently also no announcement of a "online" / "virtual" equivalent of the annual event (unlike Culture Cartel 2020), and as mentioned before, might well be a pale mirror of what the event has been, at least for the past 13 years of existence, IMHO.

A wholly understandable call and decision, as we continue into the 6th month of "circuit breaker" measures in Singapore, and slightly even more in the global fight against the dreaded Coronavirus ... Oh but what a wondrous reset it'll be for the NEXT event, tho...! Stay safe, folks!
