BLADE RUNNER 2029 #01 - CULTURE CARTEL 2020 Edition

Featured here is the cover for BladeRunner 2029 #1, as illustrated by Alan Quah (IG @quahkm) and colored by Sean Lee at Komikaki Studio! This is the Exclusive Variant for Singapore-based @comicgrailvault & @culturecartelcon (Dec 5th / TAGGED on TOYSREVIL).

Limited to only 500 virgin copies worldwide, featuring "super limited" signed and remarked CGC options, this issue will drop December 5th (1pm onwards) at digital.culturecartel.com & comicgrailvault.com (Price TBC).

"I missed out on the opportunity to draw the BladeRunner 2019 series last year because I just signed on a project. I missed out on a 2nd opportunity to draw a BladeRunner cover early this year when a cover I designed was lost in translation because the editor was furloughed. When the 3rd offer came I was too busy but I am not gonna say no to BladeRunner." (Alan Quah)

Featured up top is the finished version, while directly above is the uncoloured (*Original Art reserved), and as well featured below is the motion promo for said cover. I don't post a whole lot of comic book art on TOYSREVIL (I'm not in the scene as much), but this caught my attention on my socials, AND I am a fan of "BladeRunner", so its all good, folks!

WHAT-IS: "Blade Runner 2029" is published by Titan Comics, and is a continuation of their "Blade Runner 2019" comicbook series, which focuses on "Aahna Ashina" / "Ash", a female ex-Blade Runner. The first issue premieres December 16th, and you can view one of the primary covers by Peach Momoko here (Info via).
