JOYSTICK by 2nd2friend

Thailand-based 2nd2friend shares with us toynews of the pre-order launched for his latest resin collectible, named "JOYSTICK"! And as you can see from the images posted here, they are a cheeky play of the literal "joysticks" of video games AND the virtual "sensual joy" folks have warned you about...

Sized 4-inches tall, there are three colorwys of this resin piece to be had: WHITE, PINK and BLUE. Each priced at US$65 (+ Worldwide shipping US$25), you can currently order them via this form (*pre-order closes Nov 22nd, 2020). Produced by Fast Fabb, there is a "production lead time" of 3 months.

This art piece was initially apart of the "LOV+U" Exhibition (Select images posted below via @2nd2friend), with a conceptual question asked; "Who am I with you?" And THIS was the answer from artist Phusaporn Thepcharoennirund, AKA 2nd2friend:

"LOV + U explores a relationship through moments that we remember with our bodies. Using simple strokes and colours, 2nd2Friend remixes gender tropes and pop-cultural imageries to create a character, 2ndGirl, who lives in the grey areas of intimacy. This character, they embody our own lived experiences of holding on to and letting go of who you are as we spend time with another person. The artist questions the control we have of our own selves: from falling blissfully in love at first sight, to validating or rejecting social expectations, to giving in to our own deep yet unknown desires. Together, these illustrations remind us of both the deeply human and truly out-of-this-world journey we call love."
