PAGEFLIP for "PEOPLE" Artbook from Michael Chuah
"PEOPLE" Project is the result of Malaysia-based comic artist Michael Chuah, who'd used his "cutie pop style" to illustrate 100 portrait drawing that feature well known people from different centuries & walks of life, culminating in a 120-pager art book.
The drawings where first showcased at Taiwan’s Wrong Gallery Taipei 靠邊走藝術空間 in July 2020, and subsequently compiled into an artbook in Dec 2020.
I did a pageflip on Instagram Live on Sunday Feb 21st (view HERE on Insta), I take a closer look at the art print that came along with the first printing (Numbered out of 300pcs) - which depicted his interpretation of "Scarlett Johansson" as Marvel's BLACK WIDOW - and as well a few folks from the toy-scene too!
