This piece was first released in WHITE (see above) earlier in July, exclusive to Long Beach Museum of Art (@lbmaorg), where @tristaneaton's "Tristan Eaton: All At Once " solo show is current on show (ticketed entry), exhibiting thru October 3, 2021. With a hand-gun/revolver for a upper torso, atop bended knees with inverse relief "tattoos", an earlier incarnation of his "Let’s Bang!" was previously seen in his "Strange Future" Show (in 2019) as a 36" tall sculpture (above), and available as a 4-color print (below), also released in 2019 (in an edition of 300). I have been spending a bit of time trawling thru the www in search of the "meaning" of this image creation by it's creator, and perhaps I will one day add to this post when I do find it, cheers ... or maybe it's just straight-up commentary on "Gun P0rn"... :)
