THE TRAVELLER from Ax2 Limited on Kickstarter
Introducing THE TRAVELLER from Ax2 Limited (@ax2limited), whom has since collaborated with Derek Stenning for the first time, with this fully painted, fully assembled, 1/8th scale resin statue based on Derek's EK Series. Sculpted by 3D sculptor Leo Haslam and produced by Ax2 Limited, the project has since launched on Kickstarter.
The Traveller resin statue stands almost 15 inches (38cm) tall, with two different colour options bring offered: the full colour version titled "The Sword" and the greyscale version called "The Spear".
Limited to 100pcs, base price is US$350/US$450 for the statue (April 2022 delivery), while there are other pledge levels including US$80 for THE TRAVELLER ART BOOK (Jan 2022 delivery), Print and Art Card Packs, and of course Bundles of everything!
Pledge Goal is (approx) US$30K, with this project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sat, October 30 2021 9:00 PM AWST.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
A Canadian Concept artist and illustrator, Derek Stenning (borninconcrete.com / IG @born_in_concrete) is best known for his illustration series "Entartete Kunst", which mainly depicts "astronauts living in a surreal, spectacular and lonely universe." Derek started to create this series back in 2009 and continues to add new works to the series.
A 3D sculptor from Poland, Leo Haslam (IG @leohaslam) had participated in the short film Adam: The Mirror and currently working on Techland video game projects.
