fwenclub.com has released for pre-order a NEW incarnation of the doll seen in "Red Light Green Light" game segment of the South Korean drama - now downsized/resized to 9.8 inches tall. (Previous release stood 14-inches tall), and is designated as a "Open Edition", priced at HK$980 (approx. US$126 / SG$172). Shipping begins from January 2022 ("subject to delay due to COVID-19").

I recognise that some folks out there might balk at this release, in a way accusing this release as "diminishing" the "value" of the previous limited edition-drops, and that's understandable ... but in toy-reality it is also about giving folks a chance to own said figure, especially with the listing of partnering retailers (and their bottom lines), which ironically informs the perceived importance of a collectible toy's "market value", doesn't it? ... and of course it might also mean folks holding unto the "first editions" might dump said figures for cheap(er) too, innit? Heh.
