HeeJin for LOONA vs DESIGNER TOYS
In this LOONA vs DESIGNER TOYS serial feature, I attempt to pair a member of South Korean girl group LOONA (이달의 소녀) with a "Designer Toy" (Explained in detail HERE) - specifically ANIMAL-themed, to coincide with said-member's "animal"-icon. This post-feature is dedicated to "HEEJIN".

HeeJin sings, dances and even raps (on "So What" :p), and besides performances in LOONA (all the girls does not have a designated "position" in the group), but is recognised as one of the main visuals (but they all are tho). As well possessing a artistic flair (with various vlogs showing her drawing), I would imagine (because I would not know for fact otherwise, of course) she might be more "forgiving" of the quirky (?). She is also "known" to adore her "Stitch" plush, which has stayed with her for ages.
For the purposes of this project, her assigned ANIMAL is "RABBIT".

RABY & POCKET RABY Editions by Hong Kong based illustrator/artist Yo Yo Yeung were first made with Unbox Industries - featuring the fluffiest & yummiest-looking adorable bunnies in a hot-toy-minute - and then she subsequently self-produced her own creations under "Yo Yo Yeung Studio", leasing "BABY RABY" Editions, and COTTON RABY paired up with her YOKI bat character.
And while this LOONA vs DESIGNER TOY project had lingered relentlessly at the back of my mind, it was when "Roselberry" from Series 4 of Thimblestump Hollow was revealed, that triggered me to take action! A PINK RABBIT Doll in the hands of a rabbit-like creature, was too delicious a visual to ignore!

For the longest time, I was deadset on China-based artist ABAO's "Raabiit" as THE choice for HeeJin - based on the love and dedication for her "Stitch" plush figure, thereby perceived (by myself) to be something quirky and non-traditional a "rabbit" as can be, still utilizing the "bunny ears" aesthetics in all my choices here, imbuded with tons of "ADORABLE", as that is how I perceive HeeJin to look aesthetically, of course not wholly understanding her real life character and preference at all...! That said, my initial-decision wavered slightly , thanks to "Roselberry"!
