Camote Toys introduces us to "Ai Apaec" - made on a "Stroll" vinyl figure (by SpankyStokes and Strange Cat Toys) with putty and acrylic paint. Sized 14 x 10 x 7cm (5.5 x 4 x 2.75 inch), this one-off piece was made for the collective show 'Aquí también se juega'.

Priced at US$150 plus shipping, currently available online here, coming in signed and numbered.



STORY: "The ambition of the human being and the extractivist model promoted by the great economic powers has brought the species to the brink of extinction. The Earth is practically uninhabitable due to high temperatures, desertification and water scarcity, loss of biodiversity and lack of food.

Facing the discouraging panorama, a group of ancient sacred beings return to Earth in order to reestablish the balance and punish those responsible for the damage to nature.

Ai Apaec has the ability to be "the maker". The armor provided by the crab and the stealth of the ray allow him to go into the sea to recover the sun and restore order to promote the continuity of the cycles of nature."
