Kevin Derken AKA @klav9 will be offering up a slew of TANK CLUB custom micro-runs at the coming weekend Five Points Festival (June 25-26) via Booth #143 (sharing with Richard Strohmeyer)
"Hard to believe it's been 3 years since the last Five Points. The world seems to have changed so dramatically. I've had some personal struggles over the last year that took their toll on me, and I'm really looking forward to things getting back to normal. This year will be my 4th time showing at Fivepoints. I had my first table ever at the first show in 2017, and I hold the festival close to my heart as it helped launch my career into toy customization..."
"...Typically, a Fivepoints show for Creeping Death Robot Club is a clusterfuck of various customs from a variety of designers, but this year I've tried to refine it down to all of my own sculpts. Being that I spent a good part of the winter and spring finishing up almost 70 one-off customs for a solo show in Hong Kong. (press release coming in a few days).
I will be featuring 5 sets of 3 X ONE-OFF hand painted and weathered japanese sofubi "TANK CLUB" and 15 sets of the TEQ3PO & TANK CLUB APs. There will also be a special "acid house" marble blank of the tank and a few other surprise colors."
Featured above are line-ups of Tank Club: Rising Sun, Pool Reflection, Out Run Sunset, Jungle Camo, and Azalea Camo. 3 x one-off, hand painted with lacquer and oil paint on japanese sofubi. 4" tall, signed, $180 each.
