Gary Baseman has announced the next vacuum-formed mask release (after THE MASK OF BLACKIE THE CAT), with "AHWROO".

"A favorite character in Baseman’s world, Ahwroo is the ferociously cute creature representing the hunger and drive humans have when they want something or someone unattainable."




Sized 9.5 x 9.5 x 3 inches, the "MASK OF AHWROO" is made with 0.60” Rubber Modified HIPS, and painted with safe water-based material. Available online here for US$490 each (No specific quantity revealed).



Pronounced "ah-wrooo" like an animal howling, and inspired by the werewolf (or The Wolf Man – one of Baseman’s favorite Universal Classic Monsters), Ahwroo bears a snaggle-toothed grin to express his want of attention. If he doesn’t get it, he just might scratch and draw some blood.
