Anime-themed Collectibles at Anime Festival Asia 2022 (Nov 25-27)

Featured in this blog-post today are Collectible Toys to look forward to at this weekend's Anime Festival Asia (Dec 10-11) @ Suntec City Convention Center (Buy tickets here). This is a TOY-blog you are reading, so of course there'll be posts dedicated to TOYS, cheers :)

Featured here are items are based off promos on @animefestivalasia and more likely missing out on other retailers (:p) - which in past years I'd focus on the floor layout plan (posted above) to plot put my purchasing adventures .... But alas the recent years have not been kind, even though now would be a perfect time to unleash my buying-madness, what with the pandemic keeping the event offline for a couple of years ... ANYWAY....

Featured in above embedded tweet are my selections of what I may gotten from Kotobukiya (if I could afford them :p), with the entire Sales Catalog (Download PDF) since posted HERE on my Facebook, cheers. Yes, not all of them are "anime-themed", but it is what it is ... until a figure from CHAINSAW MAN shows up!

Above-posted images screengrabbed off @latendoshop, with items available via Booth E09, including the Lashinbang stocks, each priced at SG$4.00.

I had spent the better part of my afternoon delving thru LaTendo's anime-themed collectible offerings, looking at toys I cannot afford, but still t opens up a universe of toys I have constantly kept at bay on TOYSREVIL, and in my toy-loving heart...! But I may well fold and end up at their store (#03-354, Suntec City Mall, Singapore 038983, At East Wing (near tower 3)), if they don't already bring the awesomeness to their AFA Booth already ... aaaah who am I kidding? Can't afford to buy ish! But can afford to dream, can't I? :p. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I've always looked forward to dedicated booths from Tamashii Nation/Bandai and Good Smile Co, but alas this year .... But then again, not gonna lie, my excitement for this weekend's Anime Festival Asia has climbed quite a few notches, with see what I aim to grab at the AFASHOP booth - with HELLO! GOOD SMILE figures Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill (call me old school because I am muahahahaha) .... Affording them (even at SG$22 a pop), is a whole other thing dammit...

I remembered the year when I was so into ATTACK ON TITAN but finding their collectible toys at AFA was a challenge, until a year later when it was literally everywhere, everyone had them - from legit licenced release to bootlegs (ssshhh you can't sell these *cough*) ... this year I supposed I'll do with taking pictures instead, on the hunt for Chainsaw Man collectibles, which I hope to see fanmade merch in Creator's Hub, at least. The image posted below is NOT LISTED FOR SALE, but was "fan-made", so imagine the "possibilities"...! MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA
