New SADAKO Nendoroid & Gacha Figures
"SADAKO" is a name familiar with J-Horror aficionados (from "The Ring" movies), and interestingly there is a little "toy-resurgence" I'd like to feature (to add to my S.H.FIGUARTS X TAMASHII NATIONS (2014) and SADAKO VS KAYAKO "PUTITTO Series" gacha (2016))... which in a ideal world I'd love to collect, but for the fear the figure'll crawl out to me as I stare at it on display...! C'mon, you know it might happen, right?
Sized 100mm, SADAKO the NENDOROID from Good Smile Company comes with different hair, and a water well for her to climb out of, and not forgetting that cursed VHS tape! All packed nicely and adoringly like a "manga" incarnation!
PREORDERS is currently available here for 7,800yen (all pics via), with a 2023/07 ship date. Do check in with your fav retailers for alternative purchases, cheers. Purchases from goodsmile.info do come with the "TV-screen" accessory tho... :p

Bushiroad has released a new SADAKO GACHA collection (available since October 2022) featuring 5 designs/poses, including pitching a baseball (while wearing a catcher's glove in another LOL). Currently listed on rakuten.co.jp (images via), or you can check in with your regular toy-fixers for availability (The name to look out for is "貞子がいっぱい☆コレクションフィギュア"). SRP is 300yen per gacha.
