SLEEKY SLEEPY - Sleepwalk & Dreamwalker Editions from KNOCK

South Korean toy designer Nam Sang Hoon AKA "Knock" shares with us images of TWO editions of his character figure SLEEKY, with "Zombie" and "Fantasy" each sized 11.8 inch / 30cm (bottom to head), with each prepainted resin figures Not For Sale.

Besides the images here (more viewable on his Instagram and Behance), he shares a story for them as well.

"At Gachon University subway station where I used to live, there's a place called Sleepwalk. There was a cafe. A cafe named Sleepwalk was like saying that all of us who were tired and tired, awake but half asleep were sleepwalking. Sleepy💤 is inspired by this."

"There are two English words for sleepwalking: Sleepwalk and Dreamwalk. They're both one word for sleepwalking.

The word "Sleepwalk" is an office worker who leaves work helplessly due to the intense work he/she walks unconsciously while sleeping, and students who can't overcome sleepiness in the morning and go to school with half-closed eyes... It felt like we were tired and exhausted

Nevertheless, Dreamwalk was like us taking that heavy step once again, even though our half-closed eyes were hard and tired under the weight of the world, for the dream we desperately wanted and hoped for.

So Sleepy💤 - Sleepwalker made it into the shape of a zombie, neither alive nor dead, and expressed stains with coffee to express fatigue and instructions, and splashed blood to express intense work and stress."

"Sleepy💤 - Dreamwalker expressed the dreamy feeling of the word "dream" in a paint that has both blue and purple colors at the same time because we must be sleepy and tired, but we must be beautiful as we move toward our dreams.

Life is still hard, the world is rough, and nothing is easy, but we hope that our progress toward our dreams will shine more beautifully and brightly than anything else in the world. I try to cheer myself up by saying, "I'm always rooting for you.""
