ToyConUK 2023 Celebrates 10 Years (April 29-30)



I remember the early years of "TOYCONUK", when I'd devoured and share toynews of UK-based artists for their own in-country incarnation of "toycon", focusing specifically on the toy-arts and related fields! So satisfying! The excitement (even though "online") was palpable, and quite frankly a joy and inspiration to behold...!

As the years gone on, information had become more self-contained (as are every other creators' worldwide, to be fair), and this lil'Singapore-based blog became less effective as a platform for toynews, alas... Be that as it may, my curiosity remains, for the creations and creators, from both UK and beyond...! And I satisfy this notion with yweets of what folks can look forward to (scroll thru to view).

The annual TOYCON UK celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year, with the April 29-30th in-person event to be held in Novotel West London (1 Shortlands, Hammersmith London W6 8DR United Kingdom). The show hours are Saturday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This ticket-entry event (Buy online here) is priced £15 per person on Saturday, and £10 on Sunday (ages 13 and over). Children aged up to 12 are FREE (but add the tickets to your purchase so they can track the number of attendees).

As well there is the option of a "Weekend Pass" (Limited to 150 tickets) at £20.00, and the introduction of a "VIP Pass" (Limited to 35 packages @ £125) - since listed as SOLD OUT at time of this blogpost, cheers. ⁡⁡

"We only hold a very limited amount of tickets available for walk-ups on the day, so we recommend picking-up your tickets well in advance, especially as previous years have sold out." ⁡
