Playing with The Muppets Swedish Kitchen Playset
Featured on POPCORNX is the trailer for upcoming documentary "Jim Henson Idea Man" (Streams May 31, 2024 on Disney+), and wanted to share some images pf my playing with The Muppets SWEDISH KITCHEN playset (from Palisades Toys), played and snapped a decade ago, back in 2014!
WHAT-IS: The Swedish Chef's kitchen was the 3rd playset released by Palisades Toys, released in 2003, in honor of The Muppet Show's 25th anniversary. According to muppet.fandom.com, "This playset had the most accessories and features, including cupboards with opening doors and drawers, a refrigerator and a stove with many working doors, and a telephone."
In the corner of my toy world, I wish I collected the entire series of playsets and Muppets Action Figures, and perhaps one day will make my toywisdh come true, if only I could afford them all (hence I have not actively attempted to hunt for them :p). At the end of the PlayDay, nothing beats a "Playset", c'mon! LOL
