Growing up, I had a dachshund, who was like an adorable crabby grandma and was infamous for giving judgmental side-eye to, so this piece is a tribute to her.This space puppy is silently peeking at you, deciding whether to eat you like a tasty snack, or let you rub its belly."

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Mab Graves is a contemporary Pop Surrealist painter living in the American Midwest. Her work has been exhibited internationally in both galleries and museums since 2009, and her work has been featured in books, and television shows. In 2018, Mab had the great honor of presenting one of her greatest inspirations, Margaret Keane with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the LA Art Show, and she has recently released a toy with Lucasfilm.
