Illustration Arts Fest 2024 (#IAF2024) at ArtSpace @ HeluTrans (July 5-7)



Illustration Arts Festival 2024 (IAF) is the 5th edition of Singapore’s indie festival dedicated to celebrating ILLUSTRATION and ILLUSTRATORS across Asia and beyond!

Scheduled for 3 days in early-July, the event will be held at ArtSpace @ HeluTrans, and will feature over 130 talented Illustrators from Singapore, Hongkong, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia! Collectively, these artists boast an instagram fan base of nearly 2 million followers!

In a time when AI, machine learning, and social media algorithms dominate our digital landscape, a physical festival like IAF is essential. It provides a vibrant platform to amplify the voices of image-making creators and enhances their visibility in the art community. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the dynamic world of illustration up close and personal!




Friday July 5th is "Superfan Preview" / by invitation only (5pm - 7.30pm)
Saturday July 6th Open to the Public (11am - 7pm)
Sunday July 7th Open to the Public (11am - 7pm)
*Last entry time of each show date is 6pm



For the first time in its event-existence, the event will be ticketed. For only $6 (plus Eventbrite fee), this'll allow unlimited re-entry throughout the day, and children under 6 enter for free. The event is pet-friendly too!

Purchase tickets here on eventbrite.sg, and as well will be available at the door on the days itself.

Closest MRT is Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15).
Take Exit E and head towards bus stop no. 03217 (Opp AXA Tower), located along Shenton Way. Hop onto any of the buses: 10, 97, 100. Alight at bus stop no. 14061 (Opp Former Railway Stn), along Keppel Road. Walk straight for 200m with Tanjong Pagar.



FYI #1: The IAF2024 Open Call For Volunteers!

FYI #2: IAF is actively working with illustration events such as BKKIF (Bangkok Illustration Festival), KLIF (KL Illustration Fair), and JiCAF (Jakarta Illustration & Creative Arts Fair) to make the scene in Asia more vibrant and interesting! We hope to extend and include more up-and-coming festivals like the Manila Illustration Fair to the fold!



IN ADDITION:

CASH is king. Unsure if vendors'll have other forms of payment available (ie; PayNow, PayLah etc....), so be prepared, cheers.


This'll be a personal reminder for me (*wich I always foirget): To bring folders, or container rolls (or similar sort of bag) to hold prints and posters.You might get a clear plastic from the vendor, but you might need more to carry the around, least of all for me, attempting to snap pictures for the blog LOL
