Aside, I've never directly asked, but I assumed "Red Hood" refers to the identity of comicbook anti-hero character "Jason Todd", who was formerly a "Robin" sidekick to Batman, was then killed by The Joker, and subsequently resurrected in the Pit of Lazarus, and adopted the "Red Hood" persona afters.
