SCARLET by Mamoru Hosoda



SCARLET "follows the story of a brave princess who transcends time and space."

New animated (3DCG) film written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and animation studio Studio Chizu (who has worked on Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, Mirai & Belle with Mamoru) comes "SCARLET", premieres November 21st in Japan, December 12th in the USA.



The name and pedigree alone has garnered my attention and interests, with both "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and "Summer Wars" among my all-time Top Ten Fav Anime Films, although Ironically IU have not seeked out "Belle" because it looked to be too much of 3DCG, like "Scarlet" looks exactly to be tho... :p
