"The Punisher War Journal Entry" (1992) Trading Cards

Published by Comic Images released circa 1992, "The Punisher War Journal Entry" series consisted of 90 basic cards (including checklist), with featured images of Frank Castle and his fellow Marvel characters seen in many (if not all) comicbook covers ... and I recognise this as I own much more Punisher comicbooks than I had memories of, chief of which possessed Jim Lee-drawn covers from "Punisher War Journal"...!

In my memories, each box of "Comic Images"-released trading cards usually yielded 2 complete basic sets, but I only seem to see only this sole set, so I am wholly unsure if I had another set sleeved on file (as I would "normally" keep a set on file) ... so until such time I CAN FIND the "other" set...

Honestly though, the color treatment and intense contrast on the images looks like they are lifted off a comicbook-reprint in the early days of "omnibuses", where the colors attack your senses, flooding it with "THIS-IS-A-COMICBOOK" vibe LOL
