Honestly though, I have recently been dedicating a lot more watch-time on blister carded/boxed action figures, predominantly comicbook characters, with the ever so enticing pop culture cinematic influenced releases (Aliens, Mars Attacks etc), ever since reconnecting with my trading cards and comics from eons ago, now reliving them via my flea market/pop-ups...!
And in many ways it's also about "what I can afford to buy or collect to", because essentially I cannot afford much now, so what I have had kept in storage for 3 decades, now excavated for pop-ups, has become "new again", even though I categorise them as "preloved" ...LOL
Nothing beats being surrounded by toys - be it toys out of my reach, or simply toys I recognise... not so different that attending a toy show but unable to buy much if what I desire, but being surrounded might well be enough to sooth the soul, if only for that time spent around them :p

I knew exactly what I had wanted at ToyBros too! But I did not see it with my own eyes, and decided not to ask them about it ... sometimes "the thrill of the hunt outweighs the actual procurement", so sayeth the sour-graped me ... Heh.
